ADD-Task Next Generation Intelligence Reporting Platform 


Having identified the European need for intelligent incident management systems that are customizable, ADDITESS ADD-Task is an end-user-driven solution designed to fill this gap. In particular, the solution combines a multitude of functionalities that cover a wide range of requirements whilst allowing full control over the generated data. ADD-Task is characterised by its modularity and ability to create customised solutions based on the requirements and imposed constraints; the solution can then be deployed either on a private cloud or on premises. ADD-Task is heavily assisted by advanced technological tools capable of operating in real-time, achieving secure and targeted communication between involved stakeholders, whilst breaking down the barriers separating user roles and agencies from the public. Simultaneously, advances are also provided in aspects relevant to the development of coordinated service delivery to partners. ADD-Task also provides a seamless interface to legacy systems for information transmission to relevant organisations. ADD-Task is not just about incident reporting, several architectural components exhibit intelligence that allow the spatiotemporal and contextual correlation of reports, producing investigative knowledge and report aggregation in instances where multiple reports are found to be describing the same incident. ADD-Task is not aiming at replacing the operator but rather to provide credible information that would otherwise take precious human resources to acquire.

Considering that no solution fits it all, ADD-Task is available in three editions, each targeting a different audience, however, the modularity and configurability of its functionalities allow for custom-made editions to cover the particular needs of other application domains. ADD-Task provides different editions for Community Policing or First Responders, local authorities, and enterprise applications, each of which is equipped with functionality specially designed for the needs of each application area. “Users like the First Responders will make better decisions if they have the relevant and accurate information appropriately, and at the appropriate time”. ADD-Task is heavily assisted by advanced technological tools capable of operating in real-time, achieving secure and targeted communication between involved stakeholders, whilst breaking down the barriers separating user roles and agencies from the public.   • The design of the ADD-Task architecture follows a loosely coupled architecture, allowing for modularity and flexibility. This is thought to be essential as ADD-Task captures the diverse governing practices of the different countries by deploying state-of-the-art methods for software design as well as privacy by design principles. ADD-Task is not just about incident reporting, several architectural components exhibit intelligence that allow the spatiotemporal and contextual correlation of reports, producing investigative knowledge and report aggregation in instances where multiple reports are found to be describing the same incident. ADD-Task is not aiming at replacing the operator but rather to provide credible information that would otherwise take precious human resources to acquire. ADD-Task consists of modules, each adding functionalities to the platform: a central management system with interoperability interfaces, a data fusion engine, a spatiotemporal correlation engine, and web-based and mobile user terminals.

  • With ADDTask, the Citizen's report automatically and in real time creates a unique "Incident Card" in the first responde "Receipt Center", which is complete as it includes a time entry ID, event description text, location on the map and can be accompanied by multimedia files such as audio files, photos and even videos from the area. In addition, the Citizen's mobile phone is not required to be connected to the Internet at that time, the design is such that the report will be automatically forwarded as soon as the Citizen is near a familiar WiFi or connects via their mobile data. The “Reception Center” Staff, having all the necessary information and utilizing the capabilities of the ADDTask platform in a web application, initially categorizes and prioritizes the “INCIDENT” to then assign the resolution of the issue to the appropriate staff, who have the application in question on their mobile phone in the field. In addition, through the platform, it monitors the progress of all procedures, from their gradual implementation to their completion, while also having an accurate and up-to-date picture of all the parallel “INCIDENTS” that are in progress. At all the above stages, the application enables the Citizen to be informed in real time and to communicate with the First Responder authorities. The use of the ADDTask platform utilizes modern technology, enabling citizens to feel safe in public life, as by using it, they will quickly and clearly report events that are relevant to their living conditions status or emergencies in the place where they live. At the same time, the First Responders Authority, with ADDTask, gains an upgraded communication with its Citizens, through a modern platform that innovatively organizes the “EVENTS” reporting system and gives it the ability to standardize recording, categorization, prioritization and optimal handling, activating each time appropriate personnel forces and utilizing in the most efficient way possible, equipment and means.

  • ADDITESS’ personnel consist of highly experienced, operationally and scientifically, engineers as well as new scientists allowing for the transfer of knowledge between the two. Our company’s personnel are encouraged to take initiative in leading ideas that emerge through brainstorming sessions with the administration of the company. This process is supported by simplifying procedures and having them involved during decision-making.
