Predict4ALL

Predict4ALL aims to respond to the EW4ALL plan by focusing on on the four founding pillars of risk management:

  • Pillar 1: knowledge of disaster risks,

  • Pillar 2: detection, observation, monitoring, analysis and forecasting of risks,

  • Pillar 3: dissemination of alerts and communication,

  • Pillar 4: preparedness for response.

This solution was developed notably through projects such as ANYWHERE (EnhANcing emergencY management and response to extreme WeatHER and climate Events), which aims to give institutions and citizens affected by risk the means to strengthen their capacity for anticipation and proactive response to extreme, high-impact meteorological and climatic phenomena.

COSPARIN (COntribution du SPatial à l'Analyse du Risque INondation - Contribution of Space to Flood Risk Analysis ) an innovative project supported by the European Space Agency, aims at improving resilience and risk management using satellite rainfall estimation data.

The solution has been further developed thanks to these various projects, which have enabled Predict to begin co-building EWS in countries such as :

  • Morocco with the collaboration of the Kingdom of Morocco for the VIGIRISQUE project,

  • Ivory Coast with the PARU project

  • Rwanda with the Space4EW Rwanda project

  • Senegal with the PGIIS project

The Predict4ALL solution with an 8 TRL aims to continually improve with collaborations such as the European GOBEYOND project, which brings together a multitude of players around the Mediterranean on the theme of EW4ALL and more specifically EWS.

This solution, proposed on international projects, is fed by all this work, which helps to improve crisis management both internationally and in France. Predict4ALL is offering an interoperable risk management platform enabling multi-level collaboration (local, regional, national and beyond). All this is made possible by the sharing and mutual enrichment of know-how on these subjects.

  • The aim of the solution is to respond to EW4ALL initiative of the UN Secretary-General with autonomous EWS that can cope with increasingly frequent and intense natural disasters linked to climate change.

  • The solution is a modular tool, using the latest observation and forecasting data, based on the 4 pillars allowing adaptation to the different phases of risk management. The solution developed combines preventive organizations, climate risk analysis tools for anticipation and fine-scale management, and warning and decision support systems.

From the outset, Predict has combined cutting-edge technologies with human expertise to offer high-performance solutions that are subject to continuous innovation and improvement. With R&D and innovation at the heart of its DNA, Predict continually designs and develops products and services that combine space, meteorological, hydraulic and hydrological data and technologies with state-of-the-art analysis and communications tools.

  • The solution is a tool that can be used by local authorities, national services, weather services, fire departments, etc. to collaborate in crisis management, exchange information and better understand the role and actions of each entity during these phenomena.

  • Passionate and committed to its missions, the team supports its partners and users in the design or continuous improvement of prevention, risk management and alert systems.

Day and night, Predict's on-call team monitors territories and analyses forecast and observation data in order to provide expertise and decision support to risk managers to protect territories, citizens and economic activities.

Specialists in risk management, crisis management communication, geographers, geomaticians, cartographers, IT specialists and data scientists, the mixed team uses agile project management to cover all aspects of the implementation and operation of EWS 24/7. Organised into processes and hubs, Predict Services has been assisting its users for 20 years through a partnership-based approach and continuous improvement of systems.
