The CMINE Responder Technology Cluster and DIREKTION have released the Policy Brief on strengthening responder capabilities through innovation – launched today at the CERIS event in Brussels.


Developed by over 200 organisations and 17 projects, this brief delivers actionable recommendations for:

  • Aligning research priorities with real-world responder needs

  • Leveraging innovation procurement (e.g. PCP & PPI)

  • Enhancing interoperability and standardisation

  • Promoting ethical and user-friendly technologies

  • Supporting training and community preparedness
